Neurosciences
The Department of Neurosciences at the St. Luke’s Medical Center College of Medicine – William H. Quasha Memorial is a dynamic and innovative clinical, research and teaching department dedicated to improving the understanding of diseases of the nervous system. The department is composed of board-certified clinicians from the section of Neurology and Neurosurgery, who have undergone subspecialty training in their chosen fields.
The faculty of the Department of the Neurosciences is dedicated to the education and training in the field of neurosciences, from basic neuroanatomy, neurophysiology, neuropharmacology, clinical neuro-anatomic localization, and the wholistic clinical care of patients with neurologic disease. The goal of the department is to teach and train medical students, to inspire them to become future leaders in the field of neuroscience, and to advocate advancement of their knowledge in basic scientific research.
